Česká Spořitelna analysts expect unemployment in the Czech Republic to peak in the second quarter of this year when it should reach 9.6 %.

(ČIA, Feb 3) Česká Spořitelna analysts expect unemployment in the Czech Republic to peak in the second quarter of this year when it should reach 9.6 %. Labor bureaus throughout the Czech Republic should thus register 577,000 applicants. At present they are 50,000 individuals short of this number. Since the start of the recession the number of unemployed individuals will thus have increased by 270,000.
