Unit 2 is in operation at planned power level. At Unit 1, a planned outage is under way, that is connected with the annual refueling of the reactor fuel. The auxiliary systems are working in accordance with the operation needs of individual units.

This evening at 20:00 o’clock, Unit 2 will be switched off from the power distribution grid. During the outage, the intake of cooling water to one of auxiliary generator systems will be repaired. In the same time, the regular test of reactor control clusters will be carried out. Yet during the weekend, the Unit 2 operation will be restored.

Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on August 27, 2010 at 10:30 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 6
  • Reactor power is 0 %
  • Turbine generator output - 0 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 4 726 143 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on August 27, 2010 at 10:30 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
  • Reactor power is 100 %
  • Turbine generator output - 1005 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 4 181 800 MWh
