The ČEZ Group commissioned a modern photovoltaic power plant in Bežerovice near Tábor at the end of 2009.
Bežerovice is situated between Bechyně and Sudoměřice near Bechyně, approximately 15 km south-west of Tábor in the České Budějovice Region.
The average annual total global radiation exceeds 3,8 thousand MJ/m2 it also has the highest number of days of sunlight. The power plant with an installed output of 3.013 MW should produce an annual amount of electricity covering the demand of approximately 700 households in south Bohemia.
The construction itself was carried out in the second half of 2009. Carriers of polycrystalline panels are fixed to bearing piles fixed in the ground.
