Analysts: Industry growth pace to reach 3.5% in 2017

(CIANEWS, May 10) The Czech industry is benefiting from the influx of domestic and foreign contracts and overall economic optimism, according to PwC Czech Republic Business Finances and Restructuring department partner Petr Smutný. In connection with the data from the Czech Statistical Office, Raiffeisenbank analyst Daniela Milučká said that the year-on-year growth pace of new contracts hit double-digit figures mainly thanks to the stronger results of the production of motor vehicle (+11.1%). Generali Investments CEE chief economist Radomír Jáč expects the industry to grow by approximately 3.5% on the year in 2017.
