A majority of Czech towns and municipalities (64 %) do not have any smart strategy yet.
(CIANEWS, Oct 4) A majority of Czech towns and municipalities (64 %) do not have any smart strategy yet. At the same time, for 70 % of them smart city is a relevant topic for development. This is according to a survey by the Czech-German Trade and Industrial Chamber (ČNOPK). According to the survey, too, 20 % of small municipalities have introduced a smart solution in some area, while in the case of towns it is 75 %. For 67 % of small municipalities, the topic of smart city is a new one and they have been dealing with it for less than a year. Moreover, only 5 % of them have a responsible person or coordinator, who is developing the topic further in the municipality. In towns, it is nearly 60 %.
