The government of the Czech Republic has agreed on a presentation of the draft bill on lobbying.

(CIANEWS, Feb 21) The government of the Czech Republic has agreed on a presentation of the draft bill on lobbying. Prime minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) said this after a meeting on the Cabinet of Ministers on February 21, 2018, where the objectives of the given bill were discussed. The aim of the intended regulation of lobbying in the Czech Republic is to set transparent rules for lobbying and define this activity as a standard activity within the legislative and decision-making process on the central level. Increasing transparency in lobbing should mainly lead to reducing corruption, a conflict of interests or clientelism.
