MF: The surplus of the state budget has reached CZK 25.8bn

The total revenues of the state budget of the Czech Republic reached CZK 229.2bn as of the end of February 2018.
(ČIA) The total revenues of the state budget of the Czech Republic reached CZK 229.2bn as of the end of February 2018. The expenditure reached CZK 203.4bn. The resulting surplus reached CZK 25.8bn. In February 2017, it was CZK 3.7bn. The finance ministry of the Czech Republic (MF) said that the result was significantly influenced by resources received from the EU and FM, which were CZK 20.4bn higher year on year at the end of February 2018. After adjustment for this factor, the budget would post a deficit of CZK 0.3bn (2016: a deficit of CZK 4.0bn). The total revenues were also positively influenced by tax revenues including social security insurance, which reached CZK 184.0bn, growing by 6.8 % year on year.
