ING Bank's chief economist for CR, Jakub Seidler, predicts a slowdown in external trade growth in 2018 due to the stronger koruna and the expected slowdown in car production and exports. BH Securities’ chief economist Štěpán Křeček believes that it would be appropriate to maintain a positive trade balance with EU countries in the future and also to find new export markets that will improve the balance with non-EU countries.
