Czech Rep/Austria to agree on motorway interconnection

Czech Minister of Transport Dan Ťok (representing ANO) has met Austrian minister Norbert Hofer to discuss the completion of the South Bohemian motorway D3 and its interconnection with Austrian S10 and the bypass of Mikulov at the D52 and the connection with the motorway A5.

(ČIA) Czech Minister of Transport Dan Ťok (representing ANO) has met Austrian minister Norbert Hofer to discuss the completion of the South Bohemian motorway D3 and its interconnection with Austrian S10 and the bypass of Mikulov at the D52 and the connection with the motorway A5. International treaties will likely be concluded in relation with both motorway lines. According to Mr. Ťok, the D3 motorway will likely reach the Austrian border in 2024 and the construction of the D52 will likely begin in 2020. D. Ťok also repeated the demand of several EU member states for the removal of the international transport from the general regulation on sending workers in the framework of the mobility package.
