(ČIA) The industrial production will show in 2019 a milder pace in the growth on the level around 2.5-3.2%. This stems from a poll among analysts conducted by ČIANEWS. Komerční banka’s head analyst Jan Vejmělek said that the production capacity use fell to historical lows and the offer of free workforce was at zero. Generali Investments CEE’s chief economist Radomír Jáč sees an uncertainty in an eventual further growth in barriers in the international trade. Raiffeisenbank’s analyst František Táborský mentioned also a decreasing production of the automotive industry. On the other hand, it was possible to see a growth in new segments of electronics and technology. CZECH FUND’s head economist Lukáš Kovanda thinks the slowdown in the industry was caused also by a certain loss of the ability to compete caused by a significant growth in wages.
