Regional Tourism Award for CEZ power plant Dlouhé stráně

The Dlouhé stráně pumped storage power plant has won the Regional Tourism Award in the category of Technical Monuments. The ranking was decided by public voting on the Internet.

The Dlouhé stráně power plant with the iconic mountain-top reservoir is an attractive tourist destination. Every year, around 100,000 tourists visit the location, and about a third of them take part in tours of the facility. The power plant is also environmentally friendly: in 2019, the plant won the Olomouc Region's Award for Long-Term Environmental Contribution in the Water category.
