Reconstruction of the distribution transformer station at the Budějovická station

Subject of realization

• construction work, disassembly of existing technological units, including cable grids and replacement for new ones
• new 22kV switchboards, new distribution transformers, station batteries with chargers,
• uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system,
• RS and RM detectors for power supply technology, RU220, RS01, RU01 for power supply of emergency systems and lighting,
• delivery of an automatic dispatch control system,
• new air conditioning and substation lighting.

The work associated with the replacement of part of the 22 kV power cables from the Kačerov and Pankrác stations in the metro tunnels was particularly demanding, mainly because these works could only be carried out at night when the metro was closed. All other work was carried out at full metro operation.
