The construction included

• Reconstruction of the collection system, downtakes, and earthing system forming protection against lightning and overvoltage of the PZP premises control room building
• Disassembly of the original active lightning conductors within the entire PZP Třanovice premises
• Implementation of comprehensive building protection and gas technology structures of underground gas storage during full operation
• Installation of DEHN+SÖHNE sets of special insulated lightning conductors, including high-voltage cables, lightning current arresters, and surge protectors
• Expansion of the main earthing system in the premises and associated construction modifications
• Completion of implementation project documentation and documentation of the actual construction

Renovation benefits

• With its volume of 530 million m3 of natural gas storage capacity, PZP Třanovice is the second largest in Czechia and therefore, due to its importance and the nature of the operation, a requirement was placed on maximum reliability of lightning and overvoltage protection
• After the construction, the PZP Třanovice protection against lightning and overvoltage fully complies with the current valid standards and regulations
