CEZ project focused on employees with young children wins the Nordic Chamber of Commerce Diversity Award
The CEZ Group “We’re counting on you” project aimed at supporting employees with small children, won the Diversity Award 2023 announced this year by the Nordic Chamber of Commerce. The project, which helps working parents balance their work responsibilities with care for young children, impressed the expert jury in the competition with 17 other entries. CEZ Group has long been committed to diversity, with the aim of providing a safe and supportive environment for all employees.

CEZ Group hosts Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Council meeting
CEZ Group is currently hosting a working meeting of the Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Council of the global non-profit think tank Conference Board. Sustainability leaders from global companies came to Prague to share best practices related to sustainability and to discuss the impact of current and upcoming ESG legislation.

Prague’s Brumlovka has the first 100% electric fleet of buses in Prague. Over seven years, the free routes have circumnavigated the world eight times and carried more than 2.5 million passengers
The shuttle service providing a connection between the Budějovická (C) metro station and Brumlovka is 100% electric. Two SOR electric buses have been in operation since February 2016, and a third electric bus started operation in September of this year. The reliable emission-free vehicles have travelled more than 300,000 km in over 7 years, which is equivalent to circumnavigating the world eight times. These are the first free electric buses that have been put into normal operation in Prague’s public transport. Passengers appreciate their quiet and smooth ride and the possibility of connecting to Wi-Fi for free.
