JE Temelin traffic

Information from the NPP Temelín 168 / 2010

Unit 2 is in operation at planned power level. At Unit 1, a planned outage is under way, that is connected with the annual refueling of the reactor fuel. The auxiliary systems are working in accordance with the operation needs of individual units.

At the weekend, the intake of cooling water to one of auxiliary generator systems was repaired. Also, the regular test of the clusters drops has been successfully carried out. This night at 0:19 o’clock, Unit 2 was re-connected to the power distribution grid. Unit 2 has achieved the full power at 5:10 o'clock.

Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on August 30, 2010 at 09:30 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 6
  • Reactor power is 0 %
  • Turbine generator output - 0 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 4 726 143 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on August 30, 2010 at 09:30 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
  • Reactor power is 100 %
  • Turbine generator output - 1005 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 4 201 053 MWh
