Information from the NPP Temelín 214 / 2009

Both he first and the second Units are operated at a planned power levels. All auxiliary systems of the power plant are working in accordance with the operation needs.

On Saturday November 7 at 01:00 a.m., Unit 1 will be in a planned way disconnected from the distribution grid. The reason is the performance of balancing of the turbine generator. During the weekend, three balancing runs of the machine are planned. The reactor power will be reduced below two per cent RTP and will be held there for the complete period of balancing. After the completion of the works, the electricity production at Unit 1 will be restored.

Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on October 6, 2009 at 08:30 o‘clock:

  •         Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
  •         Reactor power is 95 %
  •         Turbine generator output - 955 MWe
  •         Electricity production since the beginning of the year:  5 428 216 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on October 6, 2009 at 08:30 o‘clock:

  •           Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
  •           Reactor power is 100 %
  •           Turbine generator output - 1013 MWe
  •           Electricity production since the beginning of the year:  5 374 758 MWh
