Information from the NPP Temelín 218 / 2009

Both he first and the second Units are operated at a planned power levels. All auxiliary systems of the power plant are working in accordance with the operation needs.

The power plant's workers completed the works with the Unit 1 turbine balancing. This morning, the Unit 1 reactor power has been increased to 50 % RTP and, at 07:33 a.m., the electricity production has been restored. In the course of today, the operations personnel will, under continuous monitoring of the turbine generator parameters, increase the unit output step by step till to 100 per cent RTP.

Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on November 12, 2009 at 10:00 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1- power operation
  • Reactor power is 63 %
  • Turbine generator output - 560 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year:  5 451 045 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on November 12, 2009 at 10:00 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
  • Reactor power is 100 %
  • Turbine generator output - 1009 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year:  5 520 311 MWh
