Information on NPP Temelín 196 / 2009

Unit 2 is in operation at planned power. Unit 1 is being prepared for start after the outage. All auxiliary systems of the power plant are working in accordance with the operation needs.

At Unit 1, all works planned for the outage have been completed. Tomorrow, the operations personnel will start its reactor. The unit start up will continue with a series of tests in both primary and secondary unit’s parts. The turbine generator synchronization to the power distribution grid is planned for the end of this week.

Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on October 12, 2009 at 11:15 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 3
  • Reactor power is 0 %
  • Turbine generator output - 0 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 5 072 238 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on October 12, 2009 at 11:15 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
  • Reactor power is 100 %
  • Turbine generator output – 1011 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 4 766 740 MWh
