JE Temelin traffic

Information on NPP Temelín 197 / 2009

Unit 2 is in operation at planned power. Unit 1 is being prepared for start after the outage. All auxiliary systems of the power plant are working in accordance with the operation needs.

Today at 3:22 a.m. o’clock, the operation personnel started the Unit 1 reactor. The turbine generator synchronization to the power distribution grid is planned for the end of this week.

Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on October 13, 2009 at 10:00 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 2
  • Reactor power is 0 %
  • Turbine generator output - 0 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 5 072 238 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on October 13, 2009 at 10:00 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
  • Reactor power is 100 %
  • Turbine generator output – 1009 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 4 791 008 MWh
