This morning, the Unit 1 reactor power has been increased and stabilized at the level of 30 % RTP. At this power level, the planned power ascension tests are under way.   Concurrently, the power plant workers are performing testing balancing runs of the turbine at the speed of 3000 rpm.

In compliance with the Unit 1 startup schedule, its connection to the distribution grid is planned for Saturday December 13. Unit 1 should attain full power on Tuesday December 16.

• Unit is in Mode 1- power operation
• Reactor power is 28 %
• Turbine generator output - 0 MWe
• Electricity production since the beginning of the year:  4 347 699 MWh

• Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
• Reactor power is 100 %
• Turbine generator output - 1008 MWe
• Electricity production since the beginning of the year:  6 882 759 MWh
