JE Temelin traffic

Information on NPP Temelín 245 / 2008

Unit 2 is in operation at planned power level. Unit 1 operates at 80% RTP. The additional power ascension tests are under way at this power level. Their completion is planned tomorrow evening and than the reactor power will be increased to 100% RTP. The auxiliary systems are working in accordance with the operation needs of individual units.

Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on December 15, 2008 at 9:00 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
  • Reactor power is 76 %
  • Turbine generator output - 732 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 4 360 652 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on December 15, 2008 at 9:00 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
  • Reactor power is 100 %
  • Turbine generator output - 1006 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 6 955 684 MWh
