JE Temelin traffic

Information on NPP Temelín 246 / 2008

Unit 2 is in operation at planned power level. Unit 1 operates at 80% RTP. The additional power ascension tests aimed at the determination of the reactor power and its distribution are being carried on at this power level. The auxiliary systems are working in accordance with the operation needs of individual units.

Information on parameters at Unit 1 today on December 16, 2008 at 10:30 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
  • Reactor power is 79 %
  • Turbine generator output - 760 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 4 378 834 MWh

Information on parameters at Unit 2 today on December 16, 2008 at 10:30 o‘clock:

  • Unit is in Mode 1 - power operation
  • Reactor power is 100 %
  • Turbine generator output - 1010 MWe
  • Electricity production since the beginning of the year: 6 979 932 MWh
