CEZ Group expanded to Turkey in 2008 and today it operates here in the field of electricity generation.
Electricity production
Electricity production is provided by Akenerji Elektrik Üretim and its subsidiaries. Through them CEZ Group co-owns power plants with a total installed capacity of 1,242 MW. The portfolio is dominated by the Egemer CCGT plant with an installed capacity of 904 MW and seven hydroelectric plants with an installed capacity of 288.9 MW. Wind power makes up 28.2 MW.
