The company ČEZ Teplárenská, a.s., buys thermal energy at the output from the area of conventional power plants and sells heat and services to end customers (households, housing cooperatives, companies, etc.).
ČEZ Teplárenská it supplies approximately 7,500 offtake points and, in addition to over 132,000 households, hospitals, authorities, schools and industrial companies are also consumers of heat.
The total annual heat supply is about 7 600 TJ. It supplies heat to customers in 32 cities - in the Ústí nad Labem, Central Bohemia, Pardubice, Hradec Králové, Moravian-Silesian and South Moravian regions. The company uniquely exports heat across the border, from the Hodonín power plant to the Slovak town of Holíč.
