The Mělník Hydro Power Station

Small hydro power plant Mělník stands on landnext to a coal power plant cooling water outflow object. In the preparation phase of the projectwas considered a variant with a pipe conduit on the banks ofthe Elbe, the final option, however,showed better economic parameters.

The power plant with installed capacity of 590 kW produces annually 2.9 million kWhof electricity and covers an annual consumption of morethan 800 households.
