Volvo Group invests in the Israeli company Driivz from the ČEZ Inven Capital investment fund portfolio

The e-mobility charging software specialist Driivz, in which ČEZ invested through its Inven Capital two years ago, has drawn in another major investor: manufacturer of trucks, buses, and construction machines Volvo Group. The company launched its first electric diggers last year and recently has announced its plan to offer a completely emissions-free truck portfolio by 2040. A joint pilot charging services project between Volvo Trucks, the Volvo Group and Driivz is ongoing. ČEZ charging stations have run on software from Driivz since 2020.

ČEZ advances to the next stage of preparation for mining lithium at Cínovec

After a thorough assessment of the lithium mining project at Cínovec, ČEZ is advancing to the project’s second stage. The second stage does not involve mining but verifying the production process under pilot plant conditions and pilot test lines. This procedure is standard in any potential ordinary mining activities. Steps to obtain other necessary permits may also be taken. This second testing stage may continue until 2023. ČEZ and Severočeské doly a.s. have therefore agreed to a contractual amendment with EMH and its subsidiary, Geomet, which holds preferential exploration and exploitation rights. The amendment will be subject to approval by the General Meeting of EMH shareholders.

CEZ Group knows the tender winners for its housing assets in Prague

The energy conglomerate CEZ Group has selected the winners of its tenders for the sale of its housing assets in Prague Písnice and a residential building in Prague Vršovice. It has also selected the winner of a tender for the sale of an adjacent commercial center in Prague Písnice.

Internal Audit Examined Contracts for Škoda Pilsen

The contractual relationships between CEZ and Skoda Power have been at arm’s length and set in a usual formal manner, including provisions on liquidated damages. Having examined the documentation pertaining to CEZ’s contracts for Skoda Power, Internal Audit found no evidence of informal relations that would indicate any improper, unethical or corrupt conduct.
