ČEZ is working on increasing the density of the network of public charging stations for electric vehicles – chargers in Olomouc will make travelling across the country easier

Prague, 11 December 2017 – the fast charging while travelling across the Czech Republic and abroad is not an obstacle any more. The Electromobility of the ČEZ Group, the operator of the largest domestic network of public charging stations, has built two new fast charging ABB stations in the Nemilany area by the Olomouc motorway ring road. This infrastructure is being built also thanks to the European grant from the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) program.

Europe’s state-of-the-art smart grid project starts officially, includes CEZ Group’s Smart Region

Prague, 23 November 2011 – A project named Grid4EU, aimed at the development of smart grids in the European Union, has been launched officially. It is so far the largest demonstration project in power engineering supported by the European Union. Six European energy companies are taking part in it – including CEZ Group.

The ČEZ Group has launched a pilot project supporting electromobility. Within this project the ČEZ Group shall lend first 2 testing electric-powered vehicles to the Sue Ryder Home.

The ČEZ company informed today about the intention to support the development of electromobility in the Czech Republic. As one of the first European power companies it shall launch a pilot project including a development of infrastructure necessary for wider utilisation of electric-powered vehicles. Lending the electric-powered vehicles to non-profit organisations is also a part of the pilot project.
