CEZ has already sold a total of 31.7 TWh for the next year, which accounts for 85 percent of the estimated amount of electricity supplied this year to the Czech market. CEZ has also already contracted more than 8 TWh of electricity for export.

All distribution companies accepted the offer of the last "package" products from the CEZ offer of rainbow energy for the next year. This one was entitled "orange energy" a daily constant supply of electricity provided on weekdays from 8.00 to 20.00 and so called "light blue" electricity daily supply of electricity provided on weekdays from 8.00 to 20.00 in particular months. CEZ subsequently offered its last package product (no.7), which will be called "rainbow electricity" (residual programme). The epithet rainbow reflects the fact that the product is not be provided in a block, as was the case with the previous ones, responds flexibly to fluctuating electricity consumption.

The last product was not offered in a compact block, but consisted of several differently priced products, which is why we are currently not able to present the average price for the entire year. The price of the product rose gradually from 73 hellers/kWh for the yellow electricity to almost 1.3 CZK/kWh for electricity supplied in winter peak load. CEZ guarantees that the average price of the electricity offer for the next year, covering all the products for the Czech market, will be lower than this year's prices of approx. 95 hellers/kWh, and also lower than the price set by the Energy Regulation Authority for the next year, which amounts to 97 hellers/kWh. CEZ plans to continue its policy of further price reductions also in the course of the next year.

The third public tender, which is currently underway, aims to sell the offered volume of orange a and light blue electricity. The individual offers are to be submitted and evaluated on November 26. The subsequent sales will continue with regard to the evaluation of CEZ sources for the next year, whose balance is becoming more and more precise. CEZ wants to prepare another special offer for all its business partners, i.e. distribution companies, licensed dealers and authorised customers. Part of the sources will be used for covering back-up services that guarantee undisturbed operation of the set and remaining part of the electricity will stay in the possession of CEZ, only to be sold in short term deals. These short term deals will account for a more significant part of the sales than they did this year, so that short term demand of CEZ consumers is fully satisfied.
