INFORMATION ON NPP TEMELÍN 178 / 2026
Both Unit 1 is in the operation. Unit 2 briefly interrupted electricity generation today. The cause was a fault in a part of the control system for the secondary (non-nuclear) section of the technology. Technicians inspected the system and subsequently replaced the affected electronic card in the control cabinet. They are currently finalizing checks, after which preparations to resume unit operation will follow. Renewal of operation is expected during the course of tomorrow. The auxiliary systems are working in accordance with the operation needs of individual units.
