CEZ Confirmed as Safe Company

The certification ‘Safe Enterprise’ confirms the robustness of the occupational health and safety management system at CEZ coal, hydroelectric, steam-gas, and thermal power plant sites and production facilities. The ‘Safe Enterprise’ program is part of the National Policy on Occupational Safety and Health of the Czech Republic.

CEZ received this certification for the first time in 2004 at the production sites of the Renewable and Conventional Energy Division, and the company has been recertified every three years since. In CEZ Group, Energotrans, which operates the heating power plant in Mělník, also holds this certification. In Czechia, 68 companies employing a total of 50,000 employees have a valid ‘Safe Enterprise’ certificate.
