CEZ: Electric cars consumed 56% more electricity last year and five times more than five years ago. For the first time in the Czech Republic, the milestone of 14 million kWh consumed per year was reached
Over 200 new charging stations, a 56 percent year-on-year increase in total zero-emission electricity consumption, and more than a fivefold increase over the last five years. This is last year's score for the most widespread and powerful Czech network of public charging stations for electric cars, operated by CEZ, which exceeded 14 million kWh consumed per year for the first time. Electric car drivers particularly appreciate the further reduction in charging times. Thanks to the accelerated construction of ultra-fast stations, people can continue to recharge their cars at the fastest rate in Czechia on average with CEZ. The network is growing thanks to funds allocated by the Transport Operational Program and thanks to CEZ Group's own investments.
