CEZ has brought more than 90 vessels to the Eemshaven terminal over the past four years. LNG imports continue at the same pace this year as last

The LNG terminal in Eemshaven, the Netherlands, is celebrating its fourth anniversary. During that time, it has received 92 vessels chartered by CEZ, delivering a total of 8.2 billion cubic metres of natural gas. These supplies are equivalent to more than one year of the Czech Republic’s total gas consumption and more than four years of gas consumption by all Czech households.

Thanks to the strategic planning of its gas purchases, CEZ has maintained the same pace of LNG imports this year despite the crisis in the Middle East. None of the shipments contained gas originating from Russia.
