CEZ increased production at its solar power plants by 13% in the first half of the year

The sun is playing an increasingly important role in the production of zero-emission electricity in the Czech Republic. This is evident from statistics on production at the CEZ Group’s photovoltaic power plants, which fed 111 GWh into the grid. The 13 percent year-over-year growth was driven by both newly commissioned plants and improved sunlight conditions. In the coming years, CEZ plans to continue increasing photovoltaic production by commissioning hundreds of MW of new plants. CEZ is also installing additional systems for households as well as customers in the public and corporate sectors.
