CEZ is preparing to modernize other heating plants: Trutnov, Ledvice, and Hodonín
The ongoing transformation of the Czech energy sector has also been significantly reflected in recent months in the transformation of the heating industry, where traditional heating plants and power plants are being replaced by smaller, low-emission sources. The CEZ Group is working to maintain the central heat supply system, which in the long term leads to the most cost-effective supplies for customers, and the Czech Republic has historically laid strong foundations in this regard. CEZ has already started building new sources in Mělník in Central Bohemia, Dětmarovice in Northern Moravia, and Prunéřov and Ústí nad Labem in Northern Bohemia. Steps are currently being taken to prepare for the modernization of heating plants in other locations, for which CEZ is now selecting suppliers. These are the Ledvice, Trutnov, and Hodonín energy complexes.
