The share of solar power in the production of emission-free electricity in the Czech Republic continues to grow. This is confirmed by figures for the production of photovoltaic power plants operated by CEZ Group companies, which supplied more than 185 GWh to the grid in eight regions of the Czech Republic. The 30.4 percent growth is due to newly commissioned power plants and better sunlight conditions than a year earlier. In the coming years, CEZ plans to commission hundreds of MW of new photovoltaic capacity. CEZ is installing additional power plants for households and customers in the public and corporate sectors.
