A total of 29 newcomers, including four women, are now beginning long-term training to become nuclear power plant operators. This is a higher number than in previous years. The training of highly qualified nuclear power plant management personnel takes several years. CEZ is thus securing key management employees almost a decade in advance. Their career begins with two years of theoretical training in Brno, where CEZ operates a special training center. This is followed by training on simulators and practical experience directly in the power plants. After two years and passing several demanding exams, they will be able to take their seats as operators of the secondary circuit of the block control rooms in Temelín and Dukovany.
