CEZ to invest CZK 3.8 billion in Temelín modernization this year

CEZ is investing CZK 3.8 billion in upgrades at the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant this year. A total of 237 investment projects have been planned. Since the plant began operating, CEZ has invested nearly CZK 38 billion in upgrading Temelín. Completing the transition to a longer fuel cycle, continuing the modernization of the control system, and expanding the use of artificial intelligence and modern control methods. These are the main areas that CEZ's nuclear energy division has planned for the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant this year.
