Cooperation of Czech State Forest and ČEZ Distribuce

The aim of cooperation is to prepare a methodology for the maintenance of overhead power lines and other distribution equipment, which will establish more efficient procedures to ensure the safety and reliability of electricity supply. The focus is on minimizing power outages and eliminating damage caused by falling trees growing outside the legally required protection zones of the lines. The scope of the upcoming measures goes above and beyond the current legal obligations.
