Czech nuclear power plants comply with international environmental protection standards

The Temelín and Dukovany nuclear power plants have once again demonstrated that they meet the requirements of the international standard for environmental management. This is the result of this year's audit by the certification company Det Norske Veritas. Dukovany has held the prestigious certificate continuously since 2001, Temelín since 2004. Every year, auditors verify that both power plants continue to comply with the standard. During this year's audit, experts examined whether the environmental protection system meets all binding requirements and how these principles are implemented in everyday operations.
