Dukovany welcomes the next generation of energy professionals as its traditional Summer University gets under way

The 18th edition of the CEZ Group Summer University at the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant welcomed 35 engineering students from universities across the Czech Republic on Monday. They are joining the programme at a time when energy experts are, among other things, preparing Czech nuclear power plants for operation of up to 80 years. Today’s students therefore have the opportunity to become involved in projects that will help shape the future of Czech energy for much of this century.

The Summer University is one of the most successful educational programmes run by the CEZ Group. Approximately two-thirds of graduates from previous editions now hold specialist positions across various parts of the CEZ Group. Students interested in future career opportunities can benefit from scholarships and other forms of cooperation offered by the company already during their studies.
