A total of 26 energy-saving projects backed by guarantees from CEZ ESCO helped cities, hospitals, cultural institutions, and industrial companies reduce their energy costs by 380 million crowns last year. Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) projects significantly reduce costs for heating, electricity, gas, and water. In addition to savings amounting to millions of crowns, this also brings about significant modernization of buildings, as well as a reduction in the carbon footprint. A major player in the field of energy savings implemented through the EPC method is ENESA, a subsidiary of CEZ ESCO. Its projects account for more than half of the total savings from all EPC projects implemented to date in the Czech Republic.
