Seven elementary schools and three preschools in Prague 6 are undergoing energy upgrades. The Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) project for these facilities is being carried out by ENESA, a subsidiary of the ČEZ ESCO holding company. Thanks to these energy-saving measures, the schools will save CZK 44 million over the next 10 years. The EPC project will run until 2027. Afterward, the district will begin calculating the savings, which are contractually guaranteed by ENESA. Furthermore, the district will repay part of the investment using the savings themselves in the coming years, so it does not need to incur high upfront costs.
