Last year, the small Kořensko 2 hydroelectric power plant generated enough electricity to power a small town for a year. Specifically, it supplied 2,470 MWh of green electricity to the transmission grid, which is 655 MWh more than the previous year. Interestingly, its turbine is powered by water that the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant returns to the Vltava River after use.
