Result of Falcon Season: 16 new chicks

Sixteen peregrine falcon chicks hatched successfully during this year’s breeding season at CEZ Group locations.

This year’s season did not go as smoothly as last year's. Some nesting boxes contained unfertilized eggs, several stable falcon pairs broke up after the loss of one of the partners, and one pair disappeared altogether. Despite this year’s fluctuations, the overall balance is impressive: The total currently stands at 163 falcon chicks hatched since the beginning of the breeding program in 2011.
