The Olomouc Region Will Save CZK 100 Million on Energy Costs

Thanks to insulation upgrades and the modernization of heating and lighting systems in 18 regional buildings, the Olomouc Region will now begin saving up to eight million crowns a year on energy costs. The total savings from the project, delivered by ENESA (a subsidiary of ČEZ ESCO), could reach up to 100 million CZK. The environment will also benefit—savings on electricity and gas consumption amount to the equivalent of 890 tons of CO2 per year. The measures primarily concern schools, social service facilities, and nursing homes administered by the Olomouc Region.
