Last year, 814 customers turned to the ČEZ Ombudsman, similar to the previous year. Although this is a 10% decrease compared to the crisis year 2022, it is still true that customers are seeking this service more often than before the outbreak of the energy crisis. The Ombudsman acknowledged the validity of 42 complaints, but half of these fell into the 'specific access' category. This allows the Ombudsman to help a customer whose request is unjustified but who is in an extremely difficult situation. The Customer Ombudsman has been operating within CEZ Group since October 2009, and the company was the first to introduce it in the Czech Republic.
