The turbine control system has been upgraded at Temelín

Experts from Doosan Škoda Power have installed a new monitoring system on the turbine of Unit 2 at the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant. The system measures blade rotation time with an accuracy of one-billionth of a second. This is the latest in a series of modernization projects designed to help ensure the continued operation of the South Bohemian nuclear power plant, which has been in service for more than 60 years. The investment cost CEZ tens of millions of crowns.
